Your blink patterns, measured privately

Ocura uses your phone's front camera to capture blink frequency and quality in a 30-second test. The AI runs entirely on your device — your video is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.

How it works

  • Eye Aspect Ratio (EAR) calculation using facial landmark detection
  • Intelligent calibration adapts to your face shape and lighting
  • Quality gates filter out poor lighting, head movement, and eye occlusion
  • Results compared against clinical norms for blink rate and completeness

What we measure

Blink Rate

Blinks per minute — normal is typically 15–20. Reduced blinking during screen use is common and may contribute to dry eye symptoms.

Blink Completeness

The ratio of full blinks to expected blinks. Incomplete blinks may reduce tear film coverage across the eye surface.
